When unscented tallow is mixed with jojoba oil and shea butter, the resulting blend creates a subtle, natural scent profile. The tallow itself has a mild, slightly earthy scent, which is very faint and often fades quickly once applied to the skin.
Everyone will interpret this scent differently; however, it isn't known to be an offensive smell at all.
If you prefer something with a sweeter scent profile, we recommend the Vanilla Bean which is just as gentle.
How to use

For best results, apply to clean, slightly damp skin.
Use a pea size. A little goes a long way!
Warm up in your hands first, then apply to the area.
Discontinue if any irritation occurs.

When I say I suffer from extremely dry skin and my eczema is out of control I mean it. I have had eczema since I was a child and have done and tried everything for my skin. Winter is the worst time of the year for myself with the heaters going and rugging up in clothes my skin can't breathe. I usually have a flaky and dry face and my skin is covered in open wounds from scratching, my skin will be completely red raw.
Since using this cream came out, I started using this product and wanted to give time before I wrote a review.
1. I usually buy the 100ml tub and it lasts so long. (Body and Face)
2. I have never received so many compliments on how amazing the skin on my face looks and I am old.
3. I find my eczema is still there but nothing like it used to be, with no itching or irritation. Just in small patches (caused by some food)

I was born with very irritated eczema as well as other skin conditions. I’ve tried multiple types of cream treatments over the last several years for my eczema but nothing has worked to my standard or has flared my skin up even more. I found out about Butter & Balm through Facebook a while ago. When I read about their ‘Unscented Whipped Tallow - Bare Balm’ I couldn’t be anymore excited to give it a try since it’s made especially for eczema. It’s been roughly just under 6 months since i’ve used this product and I honestly couldn’t be anymore happier with the results! My skin has never been and felt so moisturised, hydrated and contained! It’s so nice on the skin and doesn’t feel heavy either like other products do. I couldn’t recommend this product enough for people who also suffer with eczema and other types of skin conditions. Using it on my 6 month old for mild eczema and dry skin. Works wonders! Although it is ‘unscented’ it does have a meaty fat smell to it. I’m used to it now but in the beginning it did bother me. But now we just affectionately call my chunky Bub ‘beef cakes’!

I feel my daughters skin became 100 times worse after using the tallow , unfortunately it would have to be that she is intolerant to cow products, not because the tallow itself doesn’t work.
